Writing From The Edge; by James “J” Mills
In 2006 I took a sabbatical from a successful business management career and started a four year voyage sailing single-handed on my 47 foot sloop Location through the Sea of Cortez, and long the coast of Central America. In 2010 I returned with an extensive journal of my travels and a head full of stories. Today I am writing two books and a series of short stories, and an occasional business column or article, as well as dabbling with social and political commentary here on this blog…. I have a hard time not staying busy.
I frequently write under the pen name James McV, and my stories, articles, and essays have been published in Sea Magazine, The Log, Latitude 38, Georgetown News-Graphic, Eclectica Magazine, and Park & Recreation Trades Magazine. You can find clips of some of these and other writing at http://jamesmcvsailor.hubpages.com and at https://jamesmills.contently.com.
